This style was used thru the 1980s on Guzzis and Laverdas with the round Brembo reservoirs, and on their manual/cable dry clutches. Here is an ebay seller with both versions at very reasonable prices. You can use the hydraulic brake lever on a hydraulic clutch by simply flipping it over and using the wavy washer in the same recess; works just fine. MikeV https://www.ebay.com/itm/175556338115

Since my painting has recently improved i decided to revise, slightly, some of this and to re-clear the bodywork. The brown/maroon swath around the headlight was widened and lengthened to minimize the “chin” look under the headlight that these fairings have; it now more closely follows the lines of the big “C” opening around the handlebars. And i have decided to use these gold button head aluminum bolts (wrong era) instead of the chromed steel slot heads. The latter had slots two or three times wider than normal, and were trying so hard to make me gouge the body work! MikeV Attachment:

Looking good Mike! The paint alteration and the screws match very nicely! Lou

Yep. That was the inspiration. And the Z-stripe 750 Sport. I am glad Smart won at Imola. But too bad he did not have a name as Italian as Spaggiari! MikeV
