Just a small progress update. So far so good. It is fun to get them on the ground. MikeV Attachment: Attachment: Attachment: Attachment:

Looking good Mike. I see this one is wearing a headlight. Planning on some street miles in the future? Flattop |

Yep, this one is for the road. Fully equipped. Even with more bodywork it sure feels light when I pull it up on the stand. Not like an ST3. MikeV |

OK... Just clued in that, that is an Alazzurra frame. Noticed the cut off rear fender earlier but didn't make the connection. So what have you got planned for foot pegs and levers? Flattop |

Plan to cut two triangles out of thick aluminum plate and bolt those to the two lugs on the frame on the lower rails. One extra hole in each plate to bolt some nice folding aluminum pegs/levers on. Make a rod for the shifter. Another aluminum plate to re-position the rear brake master correctly for that rod. I can get 19” legroom from top of the seat to top of the pegs - nice. Most modern bikes are 17”+; 750 F1s are 14.5” ! MikeV |
