Wow Tom, this is really great to watch the progress of something being created from scratch.

Do you have a pic of how the airbox is situated inside the frame?

Dear Mike

No unfortunately i forgot to take one, but basically it sits between the frame rails like to the original lower part of the fueltank. My tank will have a flat bottom and will be ending above the frame rails ( like the mockup tank on my pictures, don´t need to much fuel for what i race and tank will still be holding min 13 liters). As the tank and the airbox will be made in visible carbonfibre it will look close to the original "onepiece design" once everything is installed on the bike.

Now tell us what you really think about these tires, Jan. Be honest. F1/TT technical might get better coverage. MikeV

Yes i would be interested as well

I will contact the Productmanager of conti to ask his opinion. Also conto has now a 110/80 in CR2 compound, which they did not have previously. May be it cures the issue ( but i´m not one gonna testing if it does:-)

So what are the alternatives? THe issue is my bike is not only light, it is also quite strong ( >100 RWHP). I ´ve seen some racing a 150/60/ 18Bridgestone BT090R on the rear ( did this as well) . but all of this bike had at least 25% less power than mine. THis tire has good grip and has a very good communicating when he starts to slip and very controlable as well ( it has beed developed for the 18" KTM dukes for supermoto).
JUst think this tire will be to soft for my bike.
If only the front tire is the issue a will revert back to my trusted KR124 and run the Conti only on the rear.
