I love it! Epicycle has built a lot of interesting machines. I am really happy you are going to preserve this one. I love the old mechanical anti dive on the M1R's, and yes you are MAD but I will help anyway I can. I think my friend has a parts bike. Lou

Thanks Lou. Graeme, originally it was bored to 86mm and stroked to 62mm giving 720cc. I talked to Pete Smith on the phone and he said it locked up in a race. I'd say the billet crank broke as it is not in the parts I got. As I said to Pete, I want to preserve it and hear it run again. So it's standard 52mm stroke 86mm bore or find someone that can build a crank. Any ideas? But at this stage i'm after main bearings. They are very elusive, nil in stock, no longer available! But surely in Ducati land there are 2 left??? Boucher.

He rebuilt the mille that also has the Epicycle influence in the pantah heads running backwards to suit the bevel bottom end.

Thanks again, Gowie did indeed get me some main bearings, oil pump, big valves. Nearly collected all the items needed. Thanks for the interest. Maybe we should try and get all the old Aussie race dukes together??? That would be a sight. Boucher.
