I only remember mine was silver, like a galvanised finish. It was soon exchanged for a 41 or a 42T.
Mine was a late '86 build, and as such came with a side stand instead of a center stand, and also has a wrap around front fender like a Montjuic instead of the flat sided front fender from an F1A. Guess they were using up parts laying around on the shelves at the factory.
I built it out of the crate in Spring of '87, so it wasn't changed by a previous owner.

On another note; does anyone know where I can get new gear & brake link clevis' & pins in stainless steel? Something Carlo could help with maybe?

Hello, I need to apologize, but I do not understand which parts of you you're quoting. Maybe with a photograph, for me it would be easier. I just do to help you, I'm not suggesting you anything you do not feel like it. Excuse my English! Ciao!!!

I don't know if the dimensions are the same, but here's a hint where to look for RVS (inox inossidabile). http://www.scheepvaartwinkel.com/dek-materialen/rvs/rvs-wantsp-vork-vork-6mm.htmlIt doesn't say in the catalogue (the F1 that is) if the thread is left or right. Some of the parts have numbers ending "N01" which I think means that they are DIN related (or ISO or SAE). Others don't, and these could be special like lefthand thread. Those clevis things came in left/right sets, I've got some on the SS but IRCC they were M7 (even rarer . ciao ducadini

Thanks for the leads guys, but I was trying to find the parts in stainless steel if at all possible. Steve is correct about the parts I'm after: the clevis & clevis pin. I'll try to get a photo up this weekend for you Carlo.

Grazie Steve, I did not have the parts catalog, I immediately receive the replacement part.
I do not know if we can find on the market has this spare part, but I believe it is not difficult to replicate, given that small forks with lock pin and its mechanics are common to the trade.
the photo I made it, luckily I have a Montjuic and I have the original sample.

On eBay in the US a fellow trades as Eurotrash . Look for Ducati single stuff and he's usually there. He had these in stainless.

Graeme, thanks for the tip, but after checking his store I couldn't find anything.
Carlo, How much would you charge me to make 4 of the clevis ends with pins, and 2 of the gear shift rods (all out of stainless)?
