Session 1: Well, I will join the fray. My first project for 2015 will be a Laguna Seca clone using an F3 400 frame and assorted parts collected over time. Here are some engine guts and other things to go on it. The heads were converted to 41/35mm valves by Carlo, and will have 900SS cams and 40mm carbs. MikeV Attachment:

Looks like a great start! The heads look good, thanks to Carlo. Glad you figured out your next project, you have quite a few. Lou

Ciao Mike, I have a question for you: the crankcase has the pins of the cylinder that will be compatible with the measurement of cylinder 900cc?
Thanks for your compliments towards my work !!

No Carlo. The engine is a 750 Sport. But I will use 900SS cams. After your work the heads fit 750cc cylinders perfectly. MikeV
Yes, customheadf1, 900SS cams are better than any STOCK 750 cam; more lift, more duration. You need to keep up with the postings here.
And, this engine will have a 750 Sport lower, with Carlo's modified Pantah heads facing in the correct direction. So, another reason 750 Sport cams are out. Of, course, I will have to "tweak" the timing/installation of the V 900 cam (using another 900SS H cam).

I asked you this: spacing of the pins of the cylinders, is compatible with the distance between the holes of the cylinders 900? If you close your crankcase, the cylinder 900 are compatible? They go to his quarters? Sorry for my english !! Thanks, that he did see, my work.

Nice start Mike and good work from Carlo. I will be interested in how it runs. My TT1 runs almost the same specs. I set the 900 cams at 109 Lobe center on the intake which made it peak at 8.5 K. Well not very peaky and very flat torque. Should be fun to ride. -Cranky-

That is quite a "tome" all in one place; I know I have read it in bits and pieces before. That engine got better and better with the changes made. A lot of those who want to build engines should read this! Good info for TheClaw too. Thanks, MikeV
