What won the loud bike sound contest? (you owe me new computer speakers!)
graeme Graeme - I think it was the factory TT2 owned by Jack Silverman; although my vote would have gone to Ralf's TT1.

My mind and my brain are still buzzing from Ducstock. I cant sleep properly I keep lying awake in bed of a night thinking about all the really nice people that I met, and of course the wonderful array of TT's and other Ducati machines that were there. I must thank Lou Saif, Ralph Stechlow and his lovely wife Anita, Steve Munroe and his lovely wife Emila, who worked non stop, thank you Emilia for introducing me to Mexican food !, and Steve, Gerry, Mario, Glenn, Mike,Matty, Roy, Lady Ducati, isint she lovely ! ). I met people who I have always wanted to meet, Cook Neilson, I really hope that you mend well Cook, Phill Shilling, Paul Riter. A guy who I worked with many years ago......Rino Leoni, what a legend, and he still commands an audience !. Chris, and Peter, and Jeff, and Rich Lambrechts,..... and of course Vicky Smith, what a lovely hard working lady, nothing seemed to much trouble to her, thank you Vicky. To everybody that I met, it was a pleasure and a honour, I felt very humbled by your welcome. I want to say a special "BIG" thank you to Lou Saif and Ralph Stechlow for their kindness and generosity. Before I go I must thank Mike Volkes from Canada for building that lovely 600cc F2 Pantah replica, it was a testomy to his skill. I hope that there will be another "ducstock", complete with what I consider to be some of the best looking, and somewhat miss understood racing motor cycles ever built, ( but hey, a little bit of mystery adds a demeanour )...... the Ducati TT1 and TT2's . Thank you all so very much.

Scott, glad i had some one to ride with it is way too long to drive alone, too bad my F1 didn't make the trip but seeing all the F1's & TT's renewed my energy to finish the race bike. it was great to see everybody again and meet new people with the same affliction. the trackday was a hoot eventhough i had to ride my M750 instead of the F1 hope i wasn't too in the way i spent most of the time trying to figure out the track. will post pix later I told you to check that TIRE! Ralph's TT 1 and Jacks TT 2 were music to my ears, saying that they all were, a wonderful crescendo of sound !.
Our TT 2 always had a louder "bark" than the TT 1.
Please keep the stories ( and photographs) flowing.

That didn't sound like any TT2 I'd ever heard.. Really cammy and like there was no flywheel at all.. Do you know anything about what might have been the spec for that motor?
