Well, G'day, all.
My apologies, it's been ages since my last update!
All's well, I've just been super busy with my new house and I've been finishing off some other bikes, but now I'm back onto my little TT2. :D

OK, I've blasted and sealed the magnesium 18" wheels, had them painted in Two pack by my painter, and even if I say so myself, they turned out really well. the colour match was pretty good I think.

I made up an adapter to mount up Carlo's beautiful rear floating disc and bolted them all up with some titanium bolts. Lovely!
I'll fit the Avon AM22/23 race tires tomorrow and then I can fit the wheels up, can't wait!!

More to come tomorrow, brakes......

I do not get excited about anything, but my disc brakes, are the result of hard work and much sacrifice, I am really proud of, and when I see the pictures of friends and customers who post their photos, for me is an accomplishment very great, Thanks !!

OK, so the next job, is to clean and prepare my brakes.
On the front of my bike are Brembo F05 Goldline calipers. They're pretty grubby, so I bit the bullet and picked up an ultrasonic cleaner. I've wanted one of these for a while, and all I can say is, I love it!! :D The way it cleans the parts is so gentle and it gets into every nook and cranny, I should have bought one of these years ago. I bought the 6L size with heating element and I can get a set of brake calipers in it, or a set of Dellortos. I wouldn't go any smaller or one without a heater.

I used an airline to "Pop" the pistons out of the calipers, just be careful that if you do this that you cover the caliper with a cloth and the pistons are facing down, then just insert your airline into the bleed nipple hole and you should hear the pistons pop out.

So, I dropped the calipers into the ultrasonic cleaner and gave it 30mins @ 70 Degrees, and they came out squeaky clean! Just amazing!
A new Brembo piston and seal kit and they're as good as new.

Bolted them up to the forks with some new Titanium drilled caliper bolts. Now time for a cuppa! :P
