Relief, that's a word used a lot on this build. From finally buying and collecting to oil relief valve. It was a journey to say the least, looking at old magazine articles to find how the oil passages were bypassed/blocked , sourcing a ignition, crank rods and Pistons. It has probably been the most testing yet fruitful project I've done yet. I've met the creator pete smith and have talked regularly to him about it, Shaun Sutcliffe who was riding it the day in 1985 when it blew at Oran park. " It was going really well then it made a noise and stopped" And Ian gowanloch who rescued me with a few no longer available bits, and Wes my crank man. Thanks for following the build folks.... boucher

Beautiful build! Curious about the chassis. What are those rims and what sizes? What tires? Tubes? What are the shocks, and are they the same ones that came on it? Is there is a catch bottle at the unseen end of the breather hose? Any plans for track riding it?

Hi , the frame is standard 500 Desmo sport, 16" front-18" rear ,tyres Michelin 30plus years old and of wooden construction, catch bottle is actually the bracing for swingarm, and shocks are koni's. Boucher.
