No Lou, I wouldn't abide an extra 50 lbs. I'm not sure what I'm crying about, I loved the fact that if it had only one stand, that it was a center stand. I guess I was remembering a time or two I had to pull over in the boondocks in the midst of a serious nicotine fit, and the ground at the edge of the road wasn't level or firm enough for the center stand to work. Those were the days... Is that your old endurance racer Lou? If it is, Flattop, you had to see it in person to fully appreciate just how nice it really was. I still remember the first time I saw it.

Yes Bill, that's my old girl after she was sold. I regret never taking many pictures of that old bike. The new owner has taken care of that, he has a ton on the internet. I do remember when I first bought my F1a model. What a hard bike to put on the center stand. Our mutual friend Jane had an 'S' model F1 and as a gift I took off the center stand and put on a side stand for her. That was the only thing she hated on the bike. Lou
