You're Right Ducadini. Same bore of 500 Pantah but the dome is shaped to fit the small 350 heads. Ciao Filippo

Hi everybody. Engine is finally closed. We not only discovered this engine was 440 cc, but realized that a cylinder was longer about 7 tenth of a millimetre. So I had a good differnce in compression between the vertical and horizontal heads. We tested valve clearance with a cold assembly and everything look running good. Ciao Filippo

Thank you Flattop900 Hope mine will became soon a good street bike:) https://www.flickr.com/photos/156916018 ... res/bjL8NAI've an other question: This engine has stock 350 valve, ported heads , and 36mm Dell'orto carbs. Carbs settings are almost the same from 500 Pantah to 650 Alazzurra but change the Carburator needle On 500 k4 on 650 k8. Which for you could be the best setting for this 440cc engine. I will install stock Alazzurra exhaust system. Is this a pertinent question? Thanks Filippo

Hi Filippo.... The printed word is a good place to start, but an air/fuel ratio from a dyno is the way to know for certain. Regards... Flattop

Hi Flattop Of course a dyno run is better. But at today I have no chance to do it. So I will try to get the better solution "on the field" I belive k3 are good for 30 mm carbs , in fact they was installed on 30mm dell'orto the 440cc was equipped with. K8 are on my race bike (36 mm Dell'orto). I will manager but a pair of k8. Ciao e grazie Filippo
