Would anyone know of a source for cylinder base shims in different thicknesses to set squish? 90mm cylinders. Thx John

John, you may still be able to get base gaskets from ducati a couple of ways to up to the 800 stud spacing was the same, can’t use 696 of anything after 08. You can get them from gowanloch in Australia or Stein dinse in Germany. Maybe even cometic? Paul

Hey Paul. I have plenty of base gaskets. Didn’t really want to stack them. Was looking for different thicknesses to make it one per cylinder. I might have to have them made which isn’t too difficult these days.

John that will be cometic , you may have to give them some dimensions. I had some made for my 955 I had different thicknesses made so I could play around with squish. The motor in the tt2 I am working on has one real thick one, do to the stroker crank and a thin one for setting the squish. Good luck!! Paul
