Hello Patt, your photos make it perfectly the mood that occurs in this race. I have made you a question: I could sign up with my original tt2 to make a historic parade? Of course not competitive? is expected this type of event? thanks Patt carlo

Fortunately, I was able to breathe healthy air steeped in castor. If all this has to end, I am happy to be born 50 years ago. Dear putt, how can we compare a ducati tt2, with the exhaust open, with these stoves are full of electric cables! No I do not want! You may not have understood my previous question, I now try to repeat my question to you. I can participate in the event of "TT" with my tt2? There is a category of older bikes? I'm sorry but it's not your fault, it's me I can not make myself understood by you. Hello Patt.

I am sorry Carlo, I will try to answer your question. The days when you could have ran your TT 2 in a classic lap at the IOM TT have gone. There is no time or place at the "modern" TT for tradition, history or nostalgia. The organizers of the TT give the privilege of lapping the TT course on closed roads to modern and ex GP stars, and journalists. Today in the Arari lap of honour we saw Randy Mamola, and Kevan Schawantz, two world class ex GP riders out on normal bikes. In the past Mamola and Schwantz have both descried the TT and stated that they would never race there. The organizers think that giving people like that, and racing journalists that privilege will increase the publicity for the TT.
I do not think that we will ever see a TT 1 or TT 2 being ridden on a closed road lap of the Isle of Man TT mountain circuit ever again.
I hope that this answers your question Carlo.
Ciao, Pat.
