I have been keeping a secret since last fall! I decided to acquire a Moretti from Carlo and ended up with number 4, parts have been collected and fitted at least once or twice. The challenge has been trying to decide which way to go, ultimately it was the price of parts that determined how the tt will look. Carlo has been very helpfull as well as MIke V. The frame is at the painters and should be ready in the next couple of weeks, then we will decide on the final colour and stripping scheme. I will try and keep up with posting photos, do to the long winter here in Toronto I have been doing all the work in the basement, which has a low ceiling and is very small so photos are always cluttered, once I begin final assembly I should be able to get some clear shots outside. Here is a list of parts, Moretti #4 Frame and all bodywork, tank, torque arm, footpegs. Dics brakes, front fairing stay and front fender mount from Carlo 1989 M1r forks, calipers and master cylinder (ducati 851) Ohilns rear shock 650 ally engine now with carillo rods, 90mm pistons, heads reworked by jprecision, ignition from emmanuel guyonnet,1 dyna 3 ohm dual outlet coil, 41mm mallossi carbs, oil cooler (scrounged from a crashed sport classic) Marchesini rear 4.5 x17, front marvic 3.5x17 (haven't been able to find a matching pair at least they are both 3 spokes Shorai battery, and a scitsu tach!

Lots of small jobs to do before the frame comes back from paint. Fittings for the oil lines have been acquired, hole have been drilled and taped for fittings. Battery box fit with a small amount of work! Wheels were dropped off for tires, will pick them up in a couple of days!

A new day, not a great day! My nice new exhaust sytem is going to have to be beaten into submission! After some work I got it into place but it is about .01mm away from the frame, once I have wiring done I will have to find away to get it away from the frame. My may 24 track weekend it looking in doubt now.... Frame looks amazing!! Carlo great work!!!!!!!!!!!!

ciao Paul, I will not teach you anything, you're a technician and craftsman incredibly good.
I am lucky that my project is in your hands, as a good coach, makes a nice job already good in itself.
Before ending the exhaust system, you have to check the openings of the oil collecting tank of the part below the fairing.
Surely you will have already thought of this.
This bike is built in a <a manner that you can only make a way for your project, there are spaces that you have to respect absolutely, and there you are succeeding very well.
You spoke of 1mm transition from the frame, it is true, it passes very close, and therefore your work is ok! |!
I'm very excited, see my project so far from home.
Your bike will be much more beautiful than my number 5 .... I am very proud!!
I am at your disposal for any questions.
BIG work! Carlo Leoncini.
