This beautiful Cranky Roller built TT ridden by super-fast Kerry Smith won two classes convincingly at the opening round of local vintage racing.
It was held today at Thompson Connecticut Speedway, which hasn't held a motorcycle race since 1978. The event went well for both days with no big mishaps.
The well-prepared machine and well-prepared rider were an unbeatable combination on this sunny day. And another reason to cheer on our favorite motorcycle!

Fantastic. But I am surprised the master builder did not ride it. MikeV

Thanks everyone for the compliments. Kerry Smith the rider is the daughter of an old friend (rip). She is an experienced vintage racer of many years and also runs the track day organization Cycle Smith along with her husband in the north east US. This race outing came about to have some fun and test the limits of my latest version of M1R forks. I will try to do a post on them in the tech section as time allows. Cranky
