Have it delivered to a friends house. Pick it up when the wife is away for a few hours. Bring it home and pretend it has always been there. I have done that with a few motorcycles. A welder should be a piece of cake.

Put the TT1 aside for now as a friend has to come by and see if he wants to do a trade. Since the alloy bike was on a stand I just rolled her out. She was dusty but after two years, still had some personality. A lot of time and work was put into the wheels, but I was troubled by two things. They were heavy and 16 inch. I wanted some light 17 inch aluminum wheels and I finally think I found what I was looking for. I know it won't be easy but nothing ever is. I have been looking at these wheels on Facebook market place for a while but didn't want to pull the trigger as the bolt pattern was Yamaha and my fancy Zanzanni rotors are Ducati style. I know that the PM wheels are supposed to be adaptable, but never had any experience with them. I did recall my buddy Chris Jensen had a spare set of chicane wheels for the rain slicks on his F1. They were Ducati pattern. Okay, woke up early yesterday, drove to New Jersey, bought the wheels then drove to Chris's also in New Jersey, then the three hour drive home! Traffic is no joke on Sunday. Eighty miles 3 hours, do the math. Couldn't sleep well last night thinking about the wheels. Now I'm happy. A lot of heat gun to soften the red lock tight and I was able to get all the hubs apart. I'll order new bearings and hardware and have the wheels polished before I put them back together. The rear will also be a challenge. I went with a polished over racing swingarm as the wheel is wider. Wish me luck. Lou

Oh...yeah, those are gonna look nice. I have seen 3 spoke and 4 spoke pm's, I don't recall seeing the 6 spoke wheel before.

Man, and after all that work on those Oscams! A glutton for punishment you are. And you will use that jazzy swingarm too? MikeV
